Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using MaterialsCodeGraph, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. MaterialsCodeGraph is operated by Da Vinci Labs.

Platform access & usage

MaterialsCodeGraph provides materials simulation services over MCP and a web app for materials research. By using our platform, you agree to:

• Use the platform for research, teaching, or commercial work
• Provide accurate information during registration
• Comply with all applicable laws and export control regulations
• Respect computational resource limits and fair usage policies

Intellectual property

• Your data: You retain full ownership of all simulation inputs, results, and research data you create using our platform.
• Our platform: MaterialsCodeGraph and Da Vinci Labs retain all rights to our software and platform.
• Third-party codes and potentials keep their own licenses.
• Attribution: Published work that used the platform cites MaterialsCodeGraph and the codes named in the run record.

Subscriptions, tokens & refunds

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Each paid plan grants simulation tokens to your account: the monthly plan grants its tokens at the start of each paid month, and the yearly plan grants the full year's tokens at once when the first payment succeeds. Tokens are consumed by the simulations you launch at the price quoted before each launch.

• Tokens have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and remain usable until the end of the period you have paid for
• Once any token from a purchase has been used, that purchase is non-refundable, including the unused remainder of a yearly grant
• You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future charges and your tokens stay usable until the end of the paid period
• A failed or disputed payment suspends the plan and, where tokens have already been consumed, the amount consumed remains payable
• Free signup tokens are a gift, carry no refund or payment obligation, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time
• Every run is priced by a quote before it starts and is never charged more than that quote
• A run that fails for a platform reason (our hardware, our software, our sizing) is never charged
• A run refused by our result checks (a simulation that did not converge or did not pass a published check) is not charged today, policy since 2026-09-23. A change to this takes effect 30 days after it is posted here and applies only to runs launched after that date

Service availability

We do not guarantee:

• 100% uptime or uninterrupted access to computational resources
• Specific completion times for simulations
• Compatibility with all third-party simulation software
• Recovery of data lost due to circumstances beyond our control

Prohibited activities

Prohibited:

• Using our platform for cryptocurrency mining or non-research computation
• Circumventing platform security
• Sharing account credentials or violating licensing terms
• Running simulations for weapons development or other unlawful ends
• Automated scraping or abuse of platform APIs

Limitation of liability

MaterialsCodeGraph and Da Vinci Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes to terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.

Governing law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
